Humanoinds!’ Future Humans!’

Keep in “the know.” You might ask why I’m captivated by “humanoids.” It is the wave of the future. As a matter of fact, our current telephone usage began with some of the components which make up the humanoids: i-phones, Chrome, Android: all of these are beginnings of the makings of future “humanoids.” Humanoids may very well be used at home (may be too expensive to purchase??) They may be used in war (I suspect so) . Moscow (AFP) – Russia on Thursday launched an unmanned rocket carrying a life-size humanoid robot that will spend 10 days learning to assist astronauts on the International Space Station. Named Fedor, short for Final Experimental Demonstration Object Research, the robot is the first ever sent up by Russia. Fedor blasted off in a Soyuz MS-14 spacecraft at 6:38 am Moscow time (0338 GMT). Fedor has Instagram and Twitter accounts with posts saying it is learning new skills such as opening a bottle of water. “Let’s go. Let’s go,” the robot was heard saying during launch. Fedor, (Skybot F850,) was strapped into a specially adapted pilot’s seat, with a small Russian ag in hand. “A humanoid robot with its body shape built to resemble the human body for functional purposes: interacting with human tools and environments, such as the study of bipedal locomotion and other purposes.” George Devol (1954) invented the first digitally operated and a programmable robot called the Unimate. In 1956, Devol and his partner, Joseph Engelberger formed the world’s first robot company. In 1961, the first industrial robot, Unimate, went online in a General Motors automobile factory in New Jersey. Back in August, news came of an indigenously developed humanoid robot called “Rashmi,” which is made by Ranjit Srivastava, a 38-year-old Ranchi-based software engineer. The most advanced humanoid robot to date has been developed by a team of researchers at the University of Tokyo. Named Kengoro, the robot has been made as similar to humans as current technology allows. Kengoro is the most advanced because he is the latest model, they have made two others previously. (Mar 8, 2018) A humanoid (/ ˈ hju ː m ə n ɔɪ d/; from English human and -oid “resembling”) is something that has an appearance resembling a human without actually being one. A gynoid is anything that resembles or pertains to the female human form. Though the term android refers to robotic humanoids regardless of apparent gender, the Greek prex “andr-” refers to man in the masculine gendered sense. Sophia was activated on February 14, 2016. The robot, modeled after actress Audrey Hepburn: known for human-like appearance and behavior compared to previous robotic variants. ASIMO. ASIMO (Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility) is a humanoid robot created by Honda in 2000. It is currently displayed in the Miraikan museum in Tokyo, Japan. Scientists and humanoid manufacturers will be making them as human as possible! Watch it! (Yahoo news)
